OSU had a freshman duo that earned Big
12 Conference October Rider of the Month Awards. Stephanie Helsen won the award for reining, and Harley Huff for horsemanship. Both posted 3-0 records over OSU’s first three meets of the season. Huff was also the NCEA October Rider of the Month for horsemanship.
World Cutting HA’s Bob Jackson Memo-
rial Cutting and Auction was held November 11 in Gainesville. In Jackson’s honor, $10K was raised to benefit a horseman in need, and this year’s recipient was Steve Miles, Asher, OK.
