JONES HOMES CONTRIBUTES TO HEATON AVENUE PRIMARY BUILD PROJECT
Jones Homes is delighted to contribute £500 to help re- develop a property that Heaton Avenue Primary School own on South Parade, Cleckheaton.
Having recently completed their own development at Park View Green in Cleckheaton, Jones Homes were happy to be approached for assistance by the school. The project includes general building works, repairs and decoration throughout, as well as the installation of a new kitchen, toilets and sinks.
When complete, the property will provide space for the school to offer extended free childcare for parents. It will also be used by the community as a meeting
place or a location for clubs to meet regularly.
Having made a financial contribution towards the cost of the project, Jones Homes, together with Heaton Avenue Primary School, is hoping that other local businesses will do the same, helping the school raise the necessary funds.
Work has now commenced. The school is working with a team of builders as well as apprentices from Kirklees College.
Michelle Lee, Headteacher at Heaton Avenue Primary School, comments: “We are all very excited about this project. It is great news that work is now underway and are grateful to Jones Homes for their generous support.
We do still need help from local companies, such as monetary donations or services offered free of charge, and hope that the Cleckheaton community will get behind us.
“We are very much looking forward seeing the building take shape over the coming weeks. It will be incredible to utilise the property on South Parade to its full potential and for the benefit of the local community in the near future.”
