LIVE24SEVEN // SPOTLIGHT ON WESTLEY RICHARDS WE S T L E Y R I CHARDS - , GUNS , R I F L E S & LUXUR Y C LOTHING, Age-old Craft with

Westley Richards was founded in 1812 by William Westley Richards at 82 High Street, Birmingham.

Throughout their 200-year history they have only been based at three locations in the City of Birmingham, the current location since 2008 being a sympathetically refurbished Victorian enamel factory. Top architects and interior designers were utilised to create a showroom and workshops befitting a justifiably proud Birmingham company, but step inside the showroom and it’s the vast array of products showcased in their stylish retail space that captures your imagination, for whilst traditionally established as a gun and rifle maker, respected the world over, they also retail clothing and leather products designed and manufactured by Westley Richards, in addition to renowned luxury clothing brands to include Habsburg, Meindl, T.Ba and Schneiders, to name just a few.

Modern Appeal

You don’t need to be a shooting or country pursuits enthusiast to appreciate everything in this impressive yet informal and relaxed retail space, you’re immediately captured by the most incredible collection of shirts, jackets, leathers boots, shoes and accessories that any stylish man or woman would give their right arm to own; fashion that is equally at home in the city as it is the country. The intoxicating smell of fine leather fills the air, whilst dapperly dressed staff are happy to immerse you in the history of the brand and company or simply help you pick out a jacket to make you the envy of everyone in your local trendy gastro pub! Traditional English footwear by Edward Green, rugged safari boots by the Courteney Boot Company and waterproof leather boots by Dubarry cover every outdoor eventuality and the accessories and gift selections are just breath taking, from books, optics and shooting accessories through to stationery, enviable gifts for wine connoisseurs and even our furry friends are catered for with a great selection of dog accessories. Shopping for yourself, your home or someone else is easy here.

Trigger, aka Anthony, was delighted to show me the rest of the premises, as the retail area is just the beginning of what is an incredible story. Next up was where the magic is created by a team of extremely talented crafts people that WR employs, craftspeople
