Blandy & Blandy LLP pick up an award


The firm’s residential property team received the bronze award for conveyancing excellence for the southern region at the prestigious 2017 ESTAS Awards. The award was announced by TV property expert Phil Spencer.


Impressively, solicitor Emily Farrow was also just one of 10 solicitors or conveyancers shortlisted nationally in the individual category.

GDPR a ‘hot topic’ at Employment Law seminar


Blandy & Blandy LLP’s leading employment law team welcomed over 70 attendees to its annual seminar held at Reading’s Green Park Conference Centre.


Debbie Brett, a partner in the firm’s corporate and commercial team, gave an overview of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into force in May 2018, and its implications for HR professionals and businesses. The employment team – partners Sue Dowling and Tim Clark, associate solicitor Laura Binnie and solicitor Andrea Corr – discussed topics including talent attraction and retention and restructuring a business, alongside providing an update on case law.
