“I am so excited to play Callaway as I start my professional career,” Burns said. “I have been using their clubs and have seen just how good the performance is, especially in my new driver and irons. I’m entering this next phase of my golf career with a lot of confidence.”

Wayne Nooe receives Mid-Atlantic Golf Leader Award from Sean Taylor


WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Kingsmill


Resort’s Wayne Nooe


has been named the 2017 Mid- Atlantic Golf Leader by National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) Mid-Atlantic. Nooe received this honor because of his leadership and long term service to both professional and resort golf.


Nooe, currently Vice President


of Golf & Sports at Kingsmill Resort, has led 14 PGA and LPGA Tour events over the past 16 years with Kingsmill. Nooe’s day-to-day focus is to serve the members of Kingsmill Resort’s Golf Club and guests of the resort with enjoyable programming. Kingsmill

more than 100 events for men and women members. For youth, Kingsmill has active participants in the PGA Junior League. Nooe’s team runs junior clinics and grooms youngsters who aspire to play in high school and college. Kingsmill also hosts a myriad of junior and college events, and is home to the William and Mary golf team.


Nooe was humbled recognized to be with this award.


“Anytime someone thinks you are a leader is a compliment in itself,” said Nooe. “But to be recognized by your peers, people who know what you go through and who know how hard it can be, is very special.”
