Friday 27th July Cruise the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Rhine Gorge.


Rudesheim – Schloss Vollrads guided tour and wine tasting.


Saturday 28th July Cruise the Rhine to Mannheim. Heidelberg – Heidelberg Castle and funicular railway.

Monday 30th July Baden-Baden – Fabergé Museum. Cruise the Upper Rhine to Strasbourg.


Tuesday 31st July Strasbourg – Canal cruise, UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Grand Ile and city tour. Scenic cruise to Breisach.


Wednesday 1st August Breisach – Visit to the Black Forest. Breisach – UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Neuf- Brisach Citadel.


Thursday 2nd August Basel – Tour of the medieval old town including the market square and the late Romanesque-Gothic cathedral. Basel – Free time.

Trained originally at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, John is a member of the Association of Wine Educators, the prestigious Circle of Wine Writers and is also an associate of The Wine Education Service, based in London. Wearing another professional ‘hat’ he is also the actor ‘John Leeson’. … but that’s another story!
