Guest Speaker: Martin Bell OBE Martin is an author, journalist, politician and was appointed UNICEF Ambassador for Humanitarian Emergencies in 2001. He joined the BBC in 1962 and became diplomatic correspondent, chief Washington correspondent and Berlin correspondent. BBC and UNICEF assignments have included 102 countries and 18 wars. He was wounded by mortar fire in Sarajevo in 1992.
