from the Houston area to Flippin in 2005. I was raised in Dallas and spent most of my career in the Dallas area in Commercial and Residential Property Management. During that time, I achieved the designation of Certifi ed Property Manager awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management and served as Vice President of a prominent commercial property management/ development fi rm until I formed my own company, Marquis Management, Inc., in Denver which I owned and operated for four years until my husband’s relocation back to Texas. After 22 years in the fi eld, I decided to retire.
While not having considered The Ozarks in our retirement plans, a friend suggested that we spend a few days looking at the area and we made an immediate decision that this would be by far the perfect retirement area. I had always wanted to add a real estate license to my resume so I completed the courses and moved on with my adventure in an area I consider to be the most beautiful, friendly, and peaceful place for retirement or raising a family for everyone. Dennis and I have been married for 28 years and have four grown children between us who live in Houston, Cleveland, North Carolina, and Dallas and have three beautiful granddaughters. We enjoy traveling, fi shing boating and our three dogs and we live in Bull Shoals.
