Her natural curiosity makes her follow the white rabbit down a rabbit hole, and she tumbles into the topsy-turvy world of Wonderland, where she meets the Mad Hatter, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and a whole host of colourful characters.

Preston Guild Hall will make all your wishes come true with this year’s magical family pantomime Aladdin. Join Wishee Washee (Comedian Phil Walker) on a fun packed adventure as he tries to help his brother Aladdin (Carl Tracey Nick Jnr) escape from the Evil Abanazar (Paul Zenon TV Trickster) and find true love with the emperor’s daughter, Princess Jasmine (Stacey McClean S Club Jnr).


Following the huge success of last year’s Jack and The Beanstalk, Phil Walker is again at the helm, writing and directing this spectacular production. Featuring special effects from The Twins FX and a magic carpet ride like no other from London company, Freedom Flying, it’s a treat for the whole family! CHILDRENS DELIGHT AS CINDERELLA PANTOMINE CAST SURPRISE ANCHORSHOLME ACADEMY


AT THE STRIKE OF TWELVE… the cast of Cinderella, Blackpool Grand Theatre’s pantomime surprised over 150 children from Reception and Year 1 of Anchorsholme Academy at Anchorsholme Academy in Blackpool.


The cast of Cinderella including JJ Hamblett (Union J) who will star as Prince Charming, Melanie Walters (Gavin and Stacey) as Fairy Godmother, Olivia Birchenough (Channel 5’s Milkshake) as the beautiful Cinderella and Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph returning as the Ugly Sisters all starring alongside panto favourite the incredible Steve Royle (BBC Radio Lancashire) and dancers from the Barbara Jackson Theatre Arts Centre all boarded an open top bus courtesy of Blackpool Transport to head to the Academy in full costume.


Children were thrilled to get the opportunity to meet the full cast prior to their visit to the theatre in December. They got the exclusive chance to mix with the stars of the show have photographs and were presented with special flags for their visit in December!
