For smaller members of the household, Halloween can be so exciting… a chance to get on their scariest disguise, go trick or treating, head to spine-tingling events and stock up on a whole cauldron of sweets! Here’s our pick of the best things going on this ghostly season to indulge in some family-friendly haunting.
Hubble Bubble Toil and Trouble…
The team at Bents Garden & Home are throwing lots of gory ingredients into the mix to stir up a spooktacular spell for half term. Take your little ones along between 9-11am on Thursday 26th-Sunday 29th October to create an eerie pumpkin using paints and decorations to make sure yours is the best in the street! And for even more ghoulish fun book your place at one of their Halloween Tea Parties when children from 3-10 years can enjoy a spooky Halloween party meal and games, including a prize for best fancy dress & a special gift for each child. Halloween in the City gets set to fright and delight!
From 21st-31st October, Manchester becomes eerily awash with spooky decorations, while mind-bending inflatable monsters will appear to take over city centre buildings. On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October, it’s Halloweekend – a two day family friendly Halloween festival. Families are encouraged to go dressed in their spookiest costumes and enjoy a city wide Trick or Treat, haunted houses popping up all over the place and a Haunted Maze in St Ann’s Square, complete with creepy creatures! The main stage will screen everyone’s favourite Halloween family classics; Ghostbusters, Hocus Pocus and Hotel Transylvania and there will be a mini Halloween travelling party featuring street performers, monstrous dancing and much more! Jumps, bumps and all things spooky at Oxygen Trampoline Park
From the 16th-31st October, Oxygen Trampoline Park in TraffordCity is running spooky activities and entertainment for all ages. There’ll be ghoulish jumping games, spine- chilling challenges and eerie arts and crafts for the kids to enjoy, as well as special spooky deals in the cafe for big kids and grown ups! W:

Spooky Treetop fun for all at Heaton Park
For a hair-raising family adventure, Treetop Manchester is hosting a spook-tacular week of Halloween fun this half term. Join the Twilight Trek, where the bravest little terrors can take to the trees after dark with a head torch to guide them. And any little ghosts or
ghouls that visit Treetop Nets during half term in fancy dress will be magically granted double time! Treetop Nets will also hold a Glow Bounce to celebrate Bonfire Night on Sunday 5th November at 4pm. With glow sticks galore, a host of bouncers will light up the treetops! Magic and treats at intu Trafford Centre
October half term is taking a haunted turn at intu Trafford Centre in its spookiest holiday yet! Keep your eye out for The Wizard and the Wand, a magical pop- up inn for families to enjoy, complete
with candy floss, sorcery and a cast of supernatural witches and wizards. On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October, there’s an exciting trick or treat trail – try and find the pumpkins hidden across the centre’s restaurants and stores for ultimate spooky fun!
