When the days get shorter and the air turns chilly, we want to turn up the heating and cosy up at home - but not just yet! With a welcome half term break nearly here, make sure you take advantage of the crisp autumn weather and vibrant colours first hand - it flies by in a flash!

We promise there are some seriously good things going on to warm you up this season and we’ve included them all in this issue! You’ll find ideas for great days out as well as destinations and events for child-friendly, happy haunting this Halloween.

Check out the diary pages and you’ll see you can easily fill every day of the half term with fun, affordable activities, plus get your little ones to have a go at our competitions on page 12. We’ve got some superb prizes to give away, including a fantastic set of ‘Pass the Pig’ games that will get all the family snorting with laughter, plus family tickets to see some amazing festive shows.

We’ll be back again in November with a twinkling Christmas issue full of festive treats and merry ideas. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy some well-earned time off with your children this half term.
