CANDLELIT CAROL CONCERT WITH THE LICHFIELD CATHEDRAL CHAMBER CHOIR Monday 11th December 8.00 pm A heart-warming start to the festive season with the acclaimed Lichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir directed by Martyn Rawles. Tickets priced at £12.50 to include coffee and mince-pies in the interval. All proceeds to the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas.
CHRISTMAS FLOWER ARRANGING WITH SECRET GARDEN FLORISTS Tuesday 5th December - £35 per person Morning coffee will be served from 11.30am followed by an hour of inspirational ideas for flower arrangements and Christmas décor from Sandra and the team at Secret Garden Florists. A fabulous festive 2-course lunch with a glass of wine, coffee and mince-pies follows as well as the opportunity to buy Christmas gifts and arrangements.
A SPARKLING VINTAGE AFTERNOON TEA Sunday 3rd December 3 - 5pm - £29.50 per person A fabulous afternoon of vintage melodies from the 30’s and 40’s accompanied by a sumptuous Christmas afternoon tea. A variety of sandwiches, freshly-baked buttermilk scones with cream and preserves and a mouth-watering selection of cakes and desserts all served with a flute of chilled Prosecco, tea of your choice or a cafetière of coffee
THE FOUR SEASONS RESTAURANT IN DECEMBER Our 3 AA-rosette restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner offering a three-course á la carte menu as well as a 5-course
Tasting and Vegetarian Tasting Menu. In the evenings we also offer a 9-course Tasting Menu. Swinfen estate-reared venison and local game features on the December menu alongside other specialities of the season.
PRIVATE LUNCH AND DINNER PARTIES Swathed with glittering garland and Christmas tree, our oak-panelled private dining room makes a splendid festive venue for lunch and dinner parties with family and friends. The Benjamin Wyatt room comfortably seats up to 22 guests and there is no room hire charge for 16 guests or more. The large Wedgwood table in the Upper restaurant is available for parties of 8-16 guests offering a semi-private area whilst retaining the atmosphere of the main restaurant. We offer a Christmas Celebration Menu Monday to Saturday and on Sundays we have our traditional lunch menu. Our 5-course Tasting and Vegetarian Tasting menu is also available.
THE NEW YEAR'S EVE BALL
New Year’s Eve 2017 has a distinctly decadent flavour at Swinfen Hall this coming December
A Taittinger Champagne reception with canapés gets the evening off to an early start, before you head for the ballroom or the Four Seasons restaurant where the stylish décor owes more to the roaring 20’s than Santa Claus.
Forget crackers and paper hats- think ostrich feathers, candelabras and glorious Gatsby.
Ryan’s fabulous 5-course dinner will set you up for an evening of dancing to the highly- acclaimed De Amourdance band and we celebrate the midnight hour with fireworks, Champagne and hot dogs. Tables can be booked in the ballroom (where the decibel count is more than average) but expect a more civilised atmosphere in the restaurant where the maximum table size is six. Diners in the restaurant are welcome to join the dancing in the ballroom but can retreat to their quieter refuge as and when.
Tickets are priced at £130 and include the Champagne reception, 5-course dinner, live music and fireworks, with Champagne and hot dogs at midnight.
