tion and hearts of over 18,000 Winnipeggers, and has become a multicultural mosaic and snapshot of how welcoming, inclusive, and accessible our downtown community truly is. In 2012, our living flag photo was chosen and produced as an official Canada Post stamp – with more than 10 million stamps produced and circulated worldwide. In its first three years, the BIZ defended its title as the “largest living flag” in Canada, beating Langley, Calgary, and Ottawa’s living flags, but was beat out by Calgary in 2014. In 2015 and 2016, the BIZ brought the title back to Winnipeg and reclaimed our largest living flag victory! In 2016, approximately 3,200 people participated in the Can-
