Thickness
• Blue: Regular hardness highly flexible for extreme thin wall sections • Green: Hard cannot be flexed for highly intricate carving • Melting points of both colours approximate 116°C (240°F)
Rolled to highly accurate thickness Ferris casting wax sheets are always pliable at room temperatures, can be formed to any shape and are easily cut. Smooth, translucent and pliable, these wax sheets can be used as a tracing wax for transferring illustrated patterns. Drawings or tracings can be done right on the sheet and cut with scissors or carving tool. Excellent for designing and moulding free form shapes, also used as a base wax or for build-up.
