LISKEARD Under 9s Football Team, sponsored by es- tate agency Parkes and Pearn, held their annual awards evening in the Public Hall.


The squad of ten were thanked and rewarded for their season-long efforts.


Jason White, who runs the Under 9s with John Whell,


said: ‘We didn’t have a very good start to the season but we finished well and made it to the League Cup final. ‘The players were all good. They had a good spirit and attitude.


‘They all enjoyed the game and playing to the best of their ability.’

Manager’s player of the year: Jake Hattam. Clubman: Alfie Wilson. Most improved player: Ben Whell. Supporters’ player of the year: Toby Broadwater. Players’ player: Tean Churchward. Top goal scorer: Jake White. Safe hands: Toby Broadwater.
