education with an emphasis in supervision and administration from LeTourneau University. Smith spent the 2013-2014 school year at Texas City ISD,
where he was named director of transportation, before moving on to Cy-Fair. During this time he also added a doctor of education to his title with a degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Smith is also in-demand as an industry presenter. He is an in-
structor for the TAPT Professional Certification Program and has presented various educational sessions at TAPT’s annual summer conference and for local regional chapters. He’s also the TAPT Ex-
ecutive Committee as parliamentarian and co-chairs the legislative committee.
