Escape, Indulge, Relax and Explore at Women’s Expo
T
he holidays are almost here and we’ll be visiting family and friends, baking cookies and buying heartfelt gifts for those we love, so find a little time to attend the Cumberland County Women’s Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Novem- ber 12, at the Carlisle Expo Center. They will have a wide range of ac- tivities occurring throughout the day for shoppers. Many local businesses from the area will be offering products and services that touch just about every facet of a woman’s life—health and wellness, nutrition, fitness, travel, home improvements, finances, enter- tainment and more.
Some highlights of the Women’s Expo include Nick at Nite’s winner of the Funniest Mom in America contest, Rubi Nicholas; an exciting fashion show by Sheila Frank featuring her own designs; cake decorating by Eric Bell, from Carlisle Bakery; container gardening by Stauffers of Kissel Hill; and wine sampling by Castlerigg Wine Shop and Olivero’s Vineyard.
