AS69va 1841 1d Red-brown imperforate H-A, plate 10 Die 1, wmk small crown, large left hand margin (1st stamp row H) 4 large to huge margins example cancelled by ‘socked on the nose’ rare RED Maltese Cross. Plate 10 + Red Maltese cross is an exceptionally rare stamp. Accompanied by 2015 P.T.S colour photo-certificate stating somewhat harshly ‘soiled’ … but the apppearance is more affected by the perfectly positioned red Maltese Cross which being heavy has ‘oiled’ the paper as usual - but not excessive for this. This apart, a clear P.T.S certificate! Super adhesive for the specialist. US2 PH Plate 22 ........................................................... £783
