• Put out instruments for the children to try. Ask them which ones make the most suitable sounds to accompany a skeleton dance.

• Make skeleton pictures on black paper using art straws. • Use icing sugar to put bones onto gingerbread men.
• Go on a bone hunt. Try to find resources outdoors that could be used as bones, such as twigs, and use them to make skeletons.
