Available Sizes


Some companies may offer limited sizes for their structures due to the timber used or the design of the canopy or shelter. Make sure you know the approximate sizes that you require and ask each company if they can achieve it – particularly if it is a large size. Always make sure your canopy is supplied complete with structural calculations for wind and snow loadings.


Our timber canopies have an unlimited length and a projection of up to 6m, if you require a larger projection, our Design and Build team will be able to achieve this – please contact us and we will look into creating a bespoke design for you.


Colours and Stains


Many choose a timber structure as they prefer the natural timber colour and effect. However if you do wish to have your canopy a different colour this can be achieved with the use of stain – this allows you to match a setting or your branding and still allow the wood grain to come through at varying degrees (depending on the stain chosen, and the number of layers applied).


There is a wide range of stains on offer – if you require a more unique colour it is worth asking your supplier, or shopping around to find a supplier who does the colour you require.


Our structures are made from Tanalised E treated timber that is laminated with a Resorcinol adhesive. The Resorcinol adhesive that we use, leaves the timber with a natural looking dark wood finish. Nonetheless, we can still stain the timber in a range of natural wood shades as well bright and contemporary colours.
