A H STORY

By Elva “Precious Love” Thompson shoes being wet. The force from Licensed Christian in-home

daycare is what was advertised. It hadn’t been a full week that 3-year- old Jeremiah was attending this “Christian” daycare when he expe- rienced child abuse at the hands of the “school dad” per Jeremiah — “he grabbed my arm and pushed me in the corner and pushed my head on the wall” was the story Jeremiah told Florida Department of Child Protective Services in Jacksonville, FL.

When his mother, Ashley

Selvey went to pick Jeremiah up, she noticed his socks and shoes soaked with a stench of urine. When confronted, the “school mom” stated that Jeremiah had a “bad day” and had time out for spilling water, which she explained was the reason for his socks and

being “pushed against the wall” left a golf ball sized bruise on Jeremi- ah’s forehead. With the daycare being under

investigation, Child Protective Services gave the Licensed daycare a visit and reviewed camera footage of the 6 foot, 200 lb “school dad” violently snatching Jeremiah’s arm, lifting his feet clear off the play- room floor. The helpless 3-year-old was swung by his arm with such force that his pants were coming off his bottom. Per Child Protective Services

Investigator, Furman Jackson, he confronted the “school dad” of what was viewed on their cameras, but the “school dad” didn’t agree with the video footage and insisted he has no contact with the children in the daycare. In fact, both day- care workers informed Mr. Jackson and an accompanied police officer
