The fully contained BoschGKFHiProtect com- bination dose capsule fill- er has been installed and has been manufacturing capsules since the launch of Penn’s new facility in September. The equipment is highly contained allow- ing the production of cap- sules containing highly potent compounds safely at either development or commercial scale. As cap- sule formulation is often the preferred route of administration during the clinical phase of a develop- ment programme, this state-of-the-art technology from Bosch ensures Penn is able to support this par- ticular customer need.
