Make it count - Nike 5,776,133 views

The premise of this video is simple. Give a man some money to film your brand and create a viral advert. The complexities occur when the man in question uses the entire budget to fly himself and his friends through as many countries as possible until the money runs out... lasting just 10 days with spectacular results. The campaign has resulted in nearly 6million views, considering it cost thousands and is an excellent showcase of how advertising can be both engaging and enjoyable without big budgets.

The Dog Strikes Back 14,706,445 views

Following on from the massive success of Volkswagen’s Star Wars themed advert 2011 (The Force), they’ve come back with another entertaining family advert, this time staring Bolt the dog. Bolt is overweight and is inspired by the ‘all-new sporty 2012 Volkswagen Beetle’ to get into shape, now cue the music. With nearly 15million views it was a lot of work to do to compete with the 52,999,191 amassed by their previous outing. However, when you combine VW’s 2011 and 2012 ‘Game’s Day’ campaigns (The Force, The Dog Strikes Back & The Bark Side), they have had over 84million YouTube viewings. VW have found a formula and are going to flog it for all its worth.

Project Glass: One day... 15,108,504 views

This is one for your inner geek. Google have been very clever in making their products personal to consumers. Traditionally a cold medium, internet is now part of the modern life and society. Sharing experiences is core to Google campaigns. In this advert Google preview what the world will look like one day in the future through their Google Glasses. The true brilliance of the campaign is that it ties up nicely with all of their other campaigns to show off Google’s capabilities.
