Abbotsholme teaches you that playing as part of a team helps you to build trust in your team-mates, so that in match situations you work together well. The school has also given me a greater understanding of how to play games well. I now play for local rugby and cricket teams, too, in my free time at weekends.


I have also been in three school plays, including ‘The Arabian Nights’ and ‘A Christmas Carol.’ School work is fine. I like the lessons – and I really like getting good marks for my assignments. I suppose I am quite a competitive person!
