En 2011 la ISPA realizó un estudio que definió a los spa como “un lugar donde se mejora el bienestar general de la gente a través de una variedad de servicios profesionales de spa que fomentan la renovación mental, corporal y espiritual.” También menciona que los gerentes de spa se preocupan por hallar la manera de contratar y conservar empleados de calidad. En este contexto, el bienestar y la motivación de los empleados cobran gran relevancia, y es importante elegir un

Cuando comenzó a desarrollar su línea de uniformes, una de las prioridades de Fashionizer Spa fue que la ropa que usaran los terapeutas fuera flexible. El algodón fue una elección obvia dada su capacidad de transpiración. Se brinde mayor
combinó con Licra que, al entretejerse en el algodón, permite que la ropa se amolde al cuerpo y se estire con los movimientos. Además se agregó un poco de poliéster a la composición de la tela para prevenir las arrugas y, finalmente, se aplicó un tratamiento aflojador de mugre para quitar manchas de aceite. Esta combinación única se llama CPF y los uniformes hechos de CPF se usan en muchos spa alrededor del mundo, desde Moscú hasta Miami.
En 2009, después de lanzar su línea de uniformes para spa en el Reino Unido, Fashionizer Spa generó mucho interés en Estados Unidos por lo que decidió lanzar ahí su línea de uniformes de Algodón Orgánico. Couture Uniforms had supplied uniforms to the hospitality market for many years and was approached by a number of its customers who were developing their own spas and needed a “fit for purpose” uniform.
The “ideal garment” as far
as staff and managers were concerned was one that would also not show oil stains, and that would look stylish and fashionable. Cotton was an obvious choice as it had long been cultivated for its breathability. This was then combined with Lycra, which, woven into the cotton, enabled the garments to fit well and stretch with movement. Additionally, some polyester was added to the fabric composition to prevent creasing, and finally, a soil
release treatment was given to the fabric which enabled the removal of oil stains. This unique combination is called CPF and uniforms made form CPF have now been used in spas across the globe from Moscow to Miami. In 2009, after successfully launching the exclusive cotton spa uniform range in the UK, Fashionizer Spa had great interest from the US, and decided to launch their Organic Cotton uniform range into the US market. Fashionizer Spa Uniforms was born, operating out of Florida and offering a collection of garments in 16 ladies sizes, and 6 male sizes, as well as customized solutions.
