Duty Manager at the Rolls-Royce Leisure Fitness Centre


Salary: £16,000 - £17,500, excellent benefi ts package 40 hours per week including evening and weekends


We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to assist in the general running of the Rolls-Royce Leisure Fitness Centre, a fully equipped gym, squash courts, sports hall, and class studio.


Essential criteria


• Level 3 Gym qualifi cation and/or Sports Studies/Science Degree • Management experience within the leisure industry • IT literate


• Ability to communicate both in writing and verbally


• Proven track record in customer care • Have a high degree of integrity and trust


• Experience of devising progressive personal training programmes, taking fi tness assessments & delivering various group based classes • Be able to work alone and under own initiative • Have a fl exible approach to work • Be confi dent, friendly, approachable and enthusiastic

Nottingham club for The Gym Group


Low-cost health club operator Te Gym Group has expanded its UK portfolio to 10 sites with the launch of a new gym in Nottingham. Te opening forms part of the chain’s bid to


further expand the business, with four more clubs scheduled to open by spring 2011. Launched on 16 November, the new


Nottingham facility is open 24 hours a day and offers monthly membership for £15.99 with no minimum contract. Te Gym Group has also revealed that 70


per cent of the fitness equipment is energy efficient, while the site’s lighting and shower systems will operate on timers.


Te Gym Group’s new Nottingham facility CEO John Treharne said: “We are delighted


to have opened to the Nottingham public.” New club openings are scheduled for


Plymouth (January); Bristol and Southampton (March); and Leeds (April).
