Jamie M. Bennett


Jamie M. Bennett has joined our Qui Tam Group after serving in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland for over


twenty years, where she handled the


investigation of whistleblower claims for the United States under the U.S. False Claims Act. Ms. Bennett has significant experience in Anti-Kickback and Stark law violations, serving as the lead attorney for the government in the investigation of St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, Maryland, which led to a settlement resolving kickback as well as quality of care allegations arising out of cardiac stents implanted by Dr. Mark Midei. Ms. Bennett also served as the lead attorney in a number of significant pharmaceutical fraud cases involving allegations of off label marketing and Anti-Kickback violations. Ms. Bennett has spoken nationally on both quality of care and kickback issues. In addition to her civil fraud experience, Ms. Bennett spent ten years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Criminal Division, where she prosecuted health care fraud, white collar crime and narcotics cases. In 2010 she received the U.S. Attorney’s highest honor for Excellence in the Prosecution of Fraud in recognition of her work for the government on pharmaceutical fraud and kickback cases. She is a graduate of Georgetown Law Center and a member of the District of Columbia bar.
