The Parkwood Leisure Graduate Scheme; a challenging six-month scheme
based at one of our larger centres with nationwide travel required to gain exposure to other parts of our organisation. The objective is to give advanced strategic and day-to-day, Training and development in Community Leisure Facility Management and Leadership to create senior managers for tomorrow.
The Trainee Duty Manager Scheme; this 1 year scheme is aimed at producing staff for their fi rst Management Appointment. It gives an excellent grounding in all round management skills, and is the ideal entry route for future managers.
Both these schemes would have a guaranteed position on completion
Placement Students; usually a 12 month placement providing opportunities to work on exciting short term projects which could be a wonderful opportunity for a dissertation or management report.
The successful candidates need to be committed to developing their leisure management career, be fanatical about exceeding customer expectations and be dedicated to the development of our facilities for local communities. A relevant qualifi cation would be advantageous.

Curriculum Leader
Business, Sports and Public Services
Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 (Subject to experience) Hours: 37 per week
We are looking for an exceptional individual to coordinate provision within our Business, ICT, Travel & Tourism, Languages, Teacher Training, Public Services and Sports Division. Your role will be to support the Head of Division in delivering high quality learning programs and ensuring the effective operation of College systems and procedures.
You will have specifi c duties which will apply across the division and will include staff utilisation, departmental and cross college communication, inspection preparation and overseeing quality documentation. You will mentor and motivate staff with the Division to achieve high standards and performance. You will also assist in the appointment of teaching staff, recruiting students on to programs, teach on various courses and lead on Internal Verifying and preparation for EV visits and Standards Moderation. There may also be other duties necessary relating to the overall performance of the Division.
Along with a degree in either Public Services or Sports and a full teaching qualifi cation, you will have extensive knowledge and experience within Public Services and Sports. You will have an understanding of the issues of teaching and learning and you will also be familiar with quality assurance frameworks and will have successful experience in course leadership.
