Highlight Hollywood, “the premier source for hot celebrity news,” explains more about AAA’s selection process. “For eight years, AAA has introduced the best galleries in America to unknown artists across the globe. The impressive AAA board, headed by president Thom Bierdz, chooses only one gallery per state per year. Their selections are based on years established (most galleries with 20+ but some with 60+) industry reputation, online buzz, location, size (often 20,000 to 60,000 square feet), and number of represented artists as well as artist and client references.” Bierdz adds, “We also like to honor galleries who are experts in different genres, because American Art Awards celebrates artists in many genres.” In 2016, Exclusive Collections Gallery has the distinction of being named Best Gallery In California by the American Art Awards. “We have previously named EC Galleries Best Gallery In

Nevada, because we were so impressed with their professionalism, reputation, gallery space, red carpet events, artist roster, and clientele,” Bierdz explained. “We are also continually impressed with their reputation and business in their Laguna Beach location as well as their two San Diego locations; and with the addition of their prime Beverly Hills location, this year we award Exclusive Collections Galleries the Best Gallery In California, 2016,” Bierdz said. “We want to acknowledge Ruth-Ann Thorn and the highly esteemed staff in all their locations,” he said. “Exclusive Collections is the epitome of a contemporary gallery and the American Art Awards greatly admires all facets of their history and trajectory.”
