Baltimore & Ohio operator Ron Henderson often gets eggs from the local farmers to sell to the train crews, but today it’s just a wave that goes to engineer Charlie Ogan as he passes Black Fork Junction.
LEFT: DT&I GP38 No. 210 waits in Ironton for permission to cross the Norfolk & Western line in 1974. The years of ownership by Grand Trunk Western would bring dramatic changes to the south end of the DT&I line and the eventual end of the Ironton Run.
