Membership New member kit on the way

US Lacrosse will release a new kit to welcome new and renewed members. Beginning in August, the member card, the fl ier with the ComLax coupon (15 percent off), and the complimentary rulebook of choice will be packaged with the member’s fi rst issue of Lacrosse Magazine. “As a nonprofi t organization, we are constantly looking for ways to reduce administrative costs while fulfi lling our mission,” said Sara Noon, senior director of membership and regional development at US Lacrosse. “This accomplishes both, as packaging member benefi ts together decreases the fulfi llment and postage costs associated with separate fulfi llments. This also strengthens the ties between some of our members’ favorite benefi ts.” Previously, member cards were mailed roughly four weeks after the join or renew transaction. Depending on the level of membership purchased and the magazine mailing schedule, hard-copy membership cards could arrive as late as eight weeks following the transaction. US Lacrosse has alleviated this by creating an online module that allows members to view or print up-to-date member cards on demand. Simply visit USLacrosse.org/ myaccount, log in, and click “Print My Card.” “The online member card updates upon transactions. For example, a coach that achieved US Lacrosse certifi cation would see the certifi cation status noted on the card soon after,” Noon said.
