Dr David Ashton, vice-president, administration and registrar, University of Surrey, and a member of the UCAS board, will speak about managing admissions in a changing environment and take a look at the 2015 cycle. Dr Mark Corver, head of analysis
and research at UCAS, will give an overview of what UCAS’ analysis of the 2013 and 2014 cycles tells us about the key trends in demand and admissions. Andrew Hargreaves, director
of marketing communications at UCAS said: “Our sector has continued to see development
“The programme for this year’s conference has been developed with contributions from many HE experts”
and change, not least the recent announcement relating to student number controls in England. I know that such changes are at the forefront of many HE professionals’ minds, as they manage their work in admissions and student recruitment. “The admissions conference
provides a unique opportunity for us to come together to discuss, explore and beter understand the context in which we are operating. “The programme for this year’s
conference has been developed with contributions from many HE experts, and at UCAS we are delighted to be able to manage the delivery of this key event on behalf of the sector. From feedback, we have exported many of the features of last year’s conference into the 2014 programme, whilst continuing to innovate, ensuring all delegates have an engaging and stimulating event.” UB
