Wait and See So far, meteorologists have more questions than answers. T ese recent natural disasters make it seem like the weather is getting worse. Climate change may be making normal weather more extreme. Only time will tell if weather patterns are
changing for sure. Meteorologists will study each record flood, monster storm, or weird weather event. T ey’ll see if each disaster is part of a regular weather pattern. If it doesn’t fit, they’ll look for changes in the weather patterns. With each natural disaster, they’ll learn a
little more. Given a little time, they may finally be able to answer the question: What’s up with the weather?
