GREENWICH AEROGROUP MERGES TWO OF ITS BUSINESS UNITS


Greenwich AeroGroup announces that it will merge Matrix Aviation in Wichita, KS with its sister company Professional Aviation Associates in Atlanta, GA to build a stronger, more efficient business able to meet the growing challenges of a rapidly changing industry while providing wider range of choices for customers. The newly merged company will be located in a new 46,000 square-foot Distribution Facility close to Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The new location will provide employees with modern office and warehouse space and will be equipped to better respond to customer and Aircraft on Ground needs. “This union will combine the strengths of these two dynamic organizations into a company well positioned to provide customers one point of contact with access to a wider support structure and a broader array of products,” says Greenwich AeroGroup’s senior vice president for CR&O and Distribution Dave Miller. “This will also improve our financial strength and flexibility, creating the ability to deliver long-term operating performance and significant synergy opportunities.” Matrix Aviation is a supplier of avionics, instrumentation,


TCAS and radar equipment and Professional Aviation Associates is a supplier of rotables, airframe parts and hoses. Brian Dannewitz, current president of Professional Aviation Associates will serve as president of the newly merged company. Spring is the targeted date for completion of the merger with the name of the joint company still to be determined.

DUNCAN AVIATION AWARDED THREE-YEAR MAINTENANCE CONTRACT


Duncan Aviation was recently awarded a multi-year maintenance contract with REVA that includes scheduled and unscheduled work on engines, avionics, components and aircraft paint for its fleet of air ambulances. REVA, a global medical transportation services company operating throughout North America, has relied on Duncan Aviation for overhaul and maintenance services on its fleet of air ambulances for several years. According to Sharon Klose, turbine engine service sales representative for Duncan Aviation, the multi-year contract just made sense. “REVA and Duncan Aviation have had a great


relationship for several years,” Klose says. “They take great care of their fleet and we look forward to partnering with them for many years to come.” The three-year contract between Duncan Aviation and
