TENDERS In 2004 the Hornsby brothers, Mathew and John, saw a gap in the yacht market and, together with business partner Roy Parker, they set out to develop one of the first dedicated yacht tenders as Williams. The development focused on the main tender


requirements – lightweight, the ability to perform with both light and heavy loads on board, and to provide a dry ride. It took 18 months of development work, including designing their own waterjet, before they were happy with the design and production started. Today, Williams dominates


the tender market and sells its products worldwide. In


the nine years since it started up, Williams Performance Tenders has transformed the world of yacht tenders. Starting from scratch and designing its own version of a RIB yacht tender the company has reached production levels of over 600 units per year and now supplies many of the major motor yacht builders around the world.
