Production Overview AME currently has interest in two

production leases with 26 wells actively producing. We expect to continue converting more and more exploration licenses into production leases even as our exploration activities continue. Along with our partners, we employ the latest technology and techniques to maximize production and deliver our oil and gas to market as quickly, safely and securely as possible.

Each of our current production fields were discovered when AME, challenging the conventional wisdom and working under very difficult circumstances, pursued light crude prospects that few others believed could be found in Turkey. From the 1980s until 2003, AME produced some of the heaviest crude oil in Turkey, but thanks to a bold exploration program, AME now boasts Turkey’s lightest crude oil production from a Paleozoic reservoir whose recent discovery has signaled a new era of petroleum exploration in the Southeast Turkey basin.
