mxData Ltd
Founded in 2004, mxData is an award winning privately owned business specialising in the creation and development of cross platform mobile and Internet services. With headquarters in Manchester and further offices in London and Cambridge, mxData develop and deploy mobile data applications and services, with our name deriving from our specialism in the mobile exchange of data. Our experiences have predominately centered on applications, which involve local and/geospatial content and typically the aggregation of live, dynamic and rich content from 3rd party content partners all powered by our platform GeoHawk.
Partner solutions At the very centre of mxData services is our live discovery platform, GeoHawk. We want companies to both license GeoHawk and use it as a service to power their own business. It works on location and can scale vast amounts of data quickly and efficiently. Thomson local whose data is stored and powered by GeoHawk manages in excess of 3.5 million requests per day. The data is provided to them through our API for use in their own applications and services. It is in the accuracy, speed of the return and information contained in the result, which sets us apart.
