Comcast VP to speak at 3/7 WIB lunch
Join the Women in Business Committee for an Executive Speaker Luncheon with Elizabeth Graham, Comcast's Vice President of Technical Operations - Northeast Division for Engineering on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Charles Hotel.

Liz provides strategic guidance, oversight and operational support for the five Northeast regional Technical Operations teams for nearly 8 million customers in 14 states. She is charged with driving technical, process and people-related changes that affect organizational performance for customer-facing technicians, plant maintenance and workforce operations in the Division.

Liz will discuss her road to her current position, including who influenced her and served as her mentors, as well as addressing work /life balance issues. She will also share her strong belief in the importance of emphasizing STEM education and especially encouraging young women to consider science, technology, engineering and math as a career. Working in a field that traditionally has been predominantly male-dominated, she hopes to help inform young people about the importance of education and spread the message that companies, like Comcast, want to take part in these efforts and continue to work as great community partners.
