CINTERMEX HIGHLIGHTS

• CINTERMEX Convention & Exhibition Center hosts 600 events annually and has earned a number of accolades and certifications in its 20-plus years of operation, including the ISO 9001:2008 certification and memberships in PCMA, IAEE, ICCA, and other industry organizations.

• Space is plentiful and flexible at CINTERMEX Convention & Exhibition Center. The facility includes both an exhibition and convention center with 197,840 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, and 85,037 total square feet of meeting space on the building’s second level.

City of mountains When the meetings of the day conclude, there’s plenty to do and see in Monterrey, including the Santa Lucia Riverwalk, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MARCO), hiking in Chipinque Ecological Park, and the many attractions of Parque Fundidora, adjacent to CINTERMEX Convention & Exhibition Center.

• Meeting attendees will find plenty to do and see near CINTERMEX Convention & Exhibition Center, including Parque Fundidora — a mix of green spaces and attractions built on the grounds of the former Iron and Steel Foundry Company.

• Getting to Monterrey is quicker than most might think. Monterrey’s airport currently offers 31 direct domestic flights and 10 international flights on major airlines, including American, Delta, United, and AeroMexico. Monterrey’s central location in northeastern Mexico means flights are about an hour and a half from Houston and Mexico City, and a two-hour drive from the Texas border.

Nuevo Leon has 4.1 million people, 4 percent of the country’s total population, and is also home to 30 universities. Culturally, the region is just as rich. When at leisure, meeting attendees can enjoy Nuevo Leon’s 12 golf courses, 20 shopping centers, 20 museums, and 184 hotels, which include 36 five-star properties. Meeting attendees will also find plenty of

things to do and places to stay just outside of CINTERMEX’s doors. The facility is at the heart of Parque Fundidora, an urban public park complex where visitors can experience the region’s nature and culture through museums, green spaces, and other attrac-
