Following last year’s session where a panel of respected industry lawyers and the President of the ISS discussed ways of developing a code of ethics, this session will show what has been achieved in the last 12 months. Showcasing the “Superyacht Industry Business Principles” that the ISS has been working on with members of the wider industry and allowing audience participation and interaction in reaction to these principals, this session is a crucial update on this valuable initiative. Ken Hickling - ISS

12:00 - 13:00 Keynote - The Future of Propulsion Over the years there has been talk of over engineered yacht projects with too much horsepower and very ineffi cient systems. This session is designed to explore through open dialogue between manufacturers and project teams, the future of propulsion and what we can expect to see driving yachts of the next decade. Much has been talked about hybrid systems, dual fuel, new power sources and other proven new technologies that could be the way forward, but it would be good for all parties to discuss the barriers to change, the regulatory landscape, the testing and sales process, what clients are looking for and explore the real application of new technology, in a way that optimises the most intelligent choices.
