Evangelical Lutheran Church in America ELCA Foundation

Growing in faith. Growing in giving.

Alpha Ekstrom began her faith journey eight decades ago in a pew beside her parents and four siblings in North Branch, Minnesota. A summer as a teen Caravaner led to a long and fulfilling career in the church. Her charitable gift annuity through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Foundation is an enduring reflection of what faith brings to us over the course of our lives—and its impact on the ministry of this church will be felt for years to come. “Giving and tithing is something that you can grow into,” she says. “It becomes a very joyful thing.” To learn more about charitable gift annuities and the income and tax benefits they offer, call the ELCA Foundation at 800-638-3522 or visit elca.org/foundation.

Please consult with your tax or legal advisor before proceeding with your estate plan.
