Russell-Finex, supplies fine mesh separation systems from its headquarters in the UK as well as its facilities in the US, Belgium and India. It recently extended its range of vibrating screens sold under the Russell Compact Sieves brand. The compact and easy-to-clean machine


features a high-performance rubber suspen- sion system instead of conventional spring arrangements. According to the company, this gives quieter operation and transfers significantly more vibra- tion to the mesh screen surface. Combining this with its straight-through design, allows for much higher flow-rates and improved separation.

Sweco of the USA has developed its DC Classifier as a multi-functional machine that dries, cools and classi- fies plastics materials in one unit. It uses either positive or negative air flow to draw moisture and heat away from the particulates to dry and/or cool the material. Material continues through the machine to the classifi- cation stages where oversize and fine particles can be removed. The DC Classifier has modular decks that can be easily removed for cleaning in-between material or colour changes. The company has also recently launched its new Fusion
