PRACE – The European HPC Service
PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe, provides a pan-European High Performance Computing (HPC) service with world-class systems (Tier-0) well integrated into the European HPC ecosystem (Tier-1).
Access to the PRACE services is open to all researchers affiliated with recognized European academic institutions and industries.
Leading scientists evaluate the proposals submitted in response to the bi-annual calls. Preparatory phase calls run continuously.

1.1 billion core hours on Tier-0 systems were granted to 36 projects through the peer review process by mid 2011; nearly six billion core hours had been requested for 173 projects.
