also with the life that we live everyday. They say there are two types of educa-
tion—the intellectual and the emotional. In this play, we’ll be able to see how a teacher can contribute to the life of her student. Ms. Amelia Resontoc is admired by five of her students for changing their principles and point of view about life. These five stu- dents remember their pasts and thought of how easy and hard it is at the same time to be a student and how a certain teacher man- aged to change their lives. This play will defi- nitely create a change in the way we see our former teachers and how we aspire to be- come a good example. Ang Guro is a colorful story about five teachers and five students. The first teacher is Ms. Palafox, the teacher who terrorizes her students for them to be able to follow her. Mr. Taluctoc, a.k.a. “the walking store,” comes next. He was branded that way be- cause he sells nearly everything the students ask from him. Ms. Alacdan, the third teacher, is the perfectionist who dresses fashionably. Mr. Inspection is the teacher who was charged with harassment for harassing his student and lastly Ms. Resontoc, the teacher who was well loved and respected and an

Ternida and other hardcore types. If what we want to have is a lean, ripped physique, do not neglect having to feed your muscles before and after working them out. Hardcore or not, we must nourish our muscles to promote their growth. And of course, the dedication and intensity of the hardcore bodybuilder is something we can emulate as well.

HAT does education do exactly into our lives? Most people say that learning comes not only from the books that we read but

also showed in the story. Myra is the girl who loved to dance and the one that followed the footsteps of Ms. Resontoc. Yul, the one who was never trusted by his parents, was orphaned at an early age. Faye, one of the weak students in class, was motivated by Ms. Resontoc to study hard and Claire is the one taught by Ms. Resontoc about love. Ang Guro is a comical-drama story that tells about different stories of teachers, who make boundless influences, leadership and genuine commitment to ordinary individu- als who would become future leaders. Moreover, this play will boost up the mo- rale of all Filipino Teachers. Endorsed by the Department of Educa- tion, the play’s casts include: a. Karel Marquez (as Amelia Resontoc),

In a country where giving out condoms is labeled as vulgar and gross and even the act of buying condoms is enough for the cashier to pass judgment on your character, the anonymity of a mobile consultation not only means privacy, but it also means non- judgment and the protection of one’s dignity and human right to get access to accurate and frank sexual health information. HE number of women who share Ma Rainey’s belief are legion. So many women have been betrayed so often by so many men that if you ask them if they trust men in general the answer will always be a resound- ing “NO”! Women do not trust men because guys have the reputa- tion for wanting them “only for sex.” That surely isn’t true of all men, but it is true for enough men for women to general- ize.
It is
surely true that when a man sees a woman, he is aware that she isn’t a man. Sure, he sees her as a woman, a creature of the same species but of a different gender. His mind almost automatically switches channel so to speak. She’s a woman, unlike him. He looks her over and yes, he sees her as a different sexual being. Sexual thoughts come to mind. Her beauty (or lack thereof), her feminine ways, her demeanor, are all things that he automati- cally takes into account. But does that make him untrustworthy? Perhaps, but the fact remains that the vast majority of women think so. And that is what makes them so apprehensive of men. In my long years of dealing with relationship problems, there is one question that stays in a woman’s mind even if she is deeply in love: will he remain faithful to me? Perhaps it is because they

have seen too many loving couples suddenly go into a dive and separate because women cannot understand why a man who is so deeply loved can still wander off into the arms of a woman whom he hardly knows and whose love has not been tested as hers has.
When the details of the
betrayal surface and women learn of the treachery, the lies and the deceit that went on while the wife did not have a clue about what was going on, they become even more convinced that men, even the good guys, can go down anytime.
