Promac Solutions will be showing the Doosan
DX27Z zero tail swing mini excavator and DX80R midi excavator models. The former is designed for increased productivity and fuel economy, achieved through the
combination of electronic
optimisation of the hydraulic system and a new generation 15.8kW diesel engine. Equipped with a cab and rubber tracks, it has an operating weight of 2790kg.
The DX80R has an operating weight of 8330kg when equipped with a cab and rubber tracks. It has a 40.7kW diesel engine and incorporates an auto-idle system for fuel efficiency. A boom safety valve and overload warning device are standard equipment. Both machines will be equipped with breakers from the nine-model Montabert Silver Clip hydraulic breaker range.

Available from Roy Francis Plant Sales, the range of professional shredders from the FAE Group can be used in the forestry and agricultural markets, and for the disposal of all wooden residues. Several new models for compact tractors have recently been launched, as well as forestry mulching heads that can be used with smaller tracked machines.
The UML/ST150 mulching head is suitable for tractors with a 3-point linkage from 50-110hp, and is available with a hydraulic top link and a choice of hammers. The line-up, which will be promoted at Saltex, also includes a light-duty stone crusher, and flail heads for mini excavators.

Stihl offers a wide range of products designed for greater working efficiency, which hirers can offer to gardeners and grounds care professionals. These include its cordless hedge trimmers, which can now run on a new, extra long-life
battery that doubles their run time up to a full 80 minutes’ use. The manufacturer, which will be exhibiting at Saltex, has launched four new chainsaws, including the re-introduction of the popular MS 170. Two new mid-range models, the MS 391 and MS 362, are available for general-purpose use, as well as the MS 441 C-M, which has Stihl’s M-Tronic technology and incorporates a self-tuning engine. Other introductions include the compact BGE 71 electric leaf
blower, and from the Viking equipment range comes the GB 460 combined petrol chipper and shredder for large garden use.
