Imer’s latest Maber developments

Imer Direct highlighted several enhancements for its Maber hoists range to increase safety and promote efficient working. These include electromechanical full-height gates on goods hoists, whereby a solenoid- actuated switch prevents the hoist from moving if the gate is open. The gate also cannot be opened if the hoist is not at the landing stage. Also displayed were mechanical/electrical gate systems, incorporating a landing ramp that deploys automatically when the hoist arrives, locking it in place and enabling the gate to open. Imer says these systems enable users to comply with current and forthcoming Health & Safety regulations. The company also displayed a scaffold pole carrier that can be placed securely inside the hoist cage, enabling poles to be carried safely upright. A scaffold board carrier is also available, designed to ensure balanced weight distribution.

products from Youngman’s non-powered access line-up were displayed, including the

P1500 podium step, which the manufacturer says has been selling particularly well to hirers recently. The one-piece product is straightforward to use, offers a 1.5m platform height and has a very compact footprint.
