CLEANING CONTRACTORS TURN TO DRY ICE BLASTING TO PROVIDE A QUICK, EFFICIENT CLEAN

Contract cleaners have found success in a variety of industries, from fire and historical restoration, to food processing and printing press cleaning. Many manufacturing companies contract their maintenance to outside agencies. Dry ice blasting has helped contractors achieve success in both residential and industrial cleaning applications.

Dry ice blasting uses non-abrasive media in the form of recycled CO2 pellets or particles, which won’t damage equipment. Accelerated to supersonic speeds using pressurised air, the dry ice pellets break the connection between the contaminants and the surfaces being cleaned.

Unlike power washing or steam cleaning, dry ice blasting does not leave any secondary waste. When the dry ice pellets or particles hit a solid surface, they sublimate, or convert, from solid to gas. The only thing left to vacuum or sweep up is the original contaminant.
