The Diamond Eagle is one of the most renowned artifacts associated with the creation of the United States. Designed by Pierre Charles l’Enfant, the pendant was presented by France to The Society of the Cincinnati and worn by George Washington, the first President General, and continues to be worn by successive Presidents General.
