Life at the Bottom It takes time to swim to the seafl oor. Now you’re ready to look around. T e tall kelp stems are rooted to the seafl oor. You see young fish feeding near the kelp. Larger fish swim by. T ey want to eat the younger fish. T e younger fish try hiding in the kelp to stay safe.
