TUB STYLE Direct Supply offers multiple tub styles to meet the diverse needs of your resident population.
HIGH
RECESSED TUBS: Fit perfectly into a standard tub/shower alcove. Recessed tubs are designed specifically for your ambulatory residents and are often the perfect choice for Assisted Living communities.
RECLINING TUBS: Offer the ability to prefill a portion of the tub at the beginning of the bathing cycle and remove the resident at the end of the cycle without waiting for the water to drain completely. Reclining tubs are ideal for residents who are able to physically support themselves and don’t need assistance with daily activities, but should be avoided when bathing Memory Care residents since the unfamiliar reclining motion can be alarming.
DOOR-ENTRY TUBS: Tubs with door-entry make transferring residents simpler and safer. Often allowing residents to enter independently, these tubs promote resident dignity and comfort. Doors can either be located on the side of the tub or at the end. When the door is at the end of the tub, bathers enter in a comfortable and secure chair, gliding into place without the disruption of traditional lifts. A traditional lift may still be required with a side - entry model if the resident requires additional assistance entering. Overall, door- entry tubs provide the most versatility for a diverse resident population.
LOW A110
SUPINE TUBS: Bathe residents in a prefilled tub in a comfortable supine position. Supine tubs provide comfortable and immediate bathing with the use of a tub lift. This type of tub is recommended for wheelchair-bound residents who require assistance with all daily activities.
